MII SHRINE

The definition of a Mii from Wikipedia: A Mii is a customizable avatar used by Nintendo on their video game consoles and mobile apps, first being introduced with the Wii console in 2006. Since their introduction, Miis have also appeared on the Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, the Wii U, the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, as well as various apps for smart devices such as the now-defunct Miitomo.

My rudimentary coding can only get me so far, but by the power of wanting to make a mii shrine.. my god I'll do it. With all of this comes a lot of images.. my lord LMAO- Honestly, miis are just so cute to me! I love the storytelling that they can be used for, and like.. gee..

Miitomo became defunct 7 years ago, by the time I'm writing this. It was released in 2016, and was shot dead in the Bronx in 2018- a run time of only 2 years, and yet? I adore it

I mourn her every day.. there is an android rom of it that might(?) still be up, but anytime I tried to install it, it instantly crashed. I don't know

A few years after the release of the Ds in Japan (2004), came Tomodachi Collection (2009)! Some screenshots in here are from my copy of Tomodachi Collection, being the cute little pixelated photos of miis!

There is no official English release of Tomodachi Collection, but there are mods made by the community that are actually very good! When i find the link, it will be here!

Wii Sports, what a legend.

I cant go a single day without thinking about wii tennis and its purely because my cousin was so much better at it than i was that i now cant play tennis without thinking about it and GOD WII BOWLING OHHH MY GOD I SUCK SO BAD AT THIS GAME BUT ITS SO GOOOODDD

When I think of iconic Miidia, Mii Plaza immediately comes to mind. It was a way to meet other 3ds users using Streetpass, and despite being released in 2011- it stays prominent in the community. With 3ds servers being shut down in 2023, all purchased content was no longer obtainable.

Why don't i have any official screenshots? I dunno, the Wikipedia page didn't have any..

Tomodachi Life is the goofiest shit I've ever played, only almost topped by Miitopia (which will be yapped about next).. Im autistic, can't you tell?

in my opinion, i think the best way to play Tomodachi Life is modded! There are so many wonderful cosmetic mods, and most iconic? the gay mod. make boys kiss boys and girls kiss girls in the homophobic (not really) 3ds game..

holy fuck its miitopia its my hyperfixation holy shit- Miitopia was originally released on the 3ds in 2016 (Japan) and 2017 (Usa), being remastered and slapped onto the Switch with prettier visuals and a horse (2021).. and it, right now, is the best game on the Switch in my opinion

Miitopia has a lot of physical Miidia along with it, being the most marketable of the Mii games (other than Wii Sports with Matt)

I also have a collection of videos that i'm just gonna.. put here, yknow? its my shrine, i decide the videos/silly- they used to be separated out by what they're about, but now its vaugely in an order- miitopia, tomodatchi life, then general mii stuff
